Have just spent a great week on Gainsborough Girl. The boat was pristine and easy to handle. I have spent the last 10 years with Summercraft either on a boat or in one of their cottages and have loved every minute of it. Sue and the staff are brilliant and can't do enough for you. I was sad to hear that they will be not operating a hire fleet anymore but the great news is that the cottages will still be available for rental. Keep up the great work.Ian Abram
A super place for a relaxing holiday for a few days away from home and and from the busy times of the day when we are away for the fishing and the peace and quiet time with the family and friends as my wife and I had a lovely time away from the home the staff were very helpfulWhich was a big help when we were using the boat for the first time especially Paul and cal and we can't wait for next year to come
Couldn’t have asked for more. The photos do not do this place justice. We booked a cottage (Including day launch) over the April bank holiday. When we arrived (Late) the nice lady on reception asked us to go over and relax in the cottage and somebody would be over once we had settled, to show us the ropes with both the cottage and the 8 person day boat. The young lad that came over was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He took us through the bits and pieces in the cottage and then took us out on the broads to ensure that we were comfortable in control and proficient, there was no rush and in no time we had the hang of it, despite being a bit nervous to begin with as first timers. The very next day I called on him again, as I had forgotten how to get the boat moving, again nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was well equipped, recently refurbished and much bigger than we had expected, with a lovely garden and new furniture. The attention to detail and amenities available made the stay very comfortable. As a family we generally stay in 5 star hotels when holidaying, this did not disappoint. We stayed in a pet friendly cottage as we took our dog away for the first time, we were made to feel relaxed taking him everywhere on the broads. There was no trace of any previous four legged friend in the property or doggy smells, which was welcome and immediately put a smile on my other half’s face. Great, picturesque location for everything the broads has to offer, from food, pubs, shopping, tourist sites and wildlife, we will definitely be back. Thanks for a great stay.
Only just arrived but we'll pleased with what we have seen, the accommodation very clean the staff and reception cheerful and very helpfull, if helpful please like
We only stayed at summer craft for one night but we found the staff very friendly and helpful as useual as we stayed here two years ago, it looks like some major refurbishments are going on as the jetty looks almost new. We absolutely love this place as it is so quaint and quiet Thankyou sue and Staff.
